Jesus
was baptized on the 8th day as all newborn Jewish males were. That 8th
day, pretty awesome. It is the day AFTER the day of rest. A day when recreation
starts. A day when Pentecost rejoices in the harvest. A day when Jesus rose
from the dead. A day when God’s people gather to rejoice in the death,
resurrection, ascension and rule of Jesus Christ. A day when the knowledge of
the Lord gets expanded to the very ends of the Earth and all the nations belong
to Him. This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
